Get those Scandal Eyes!

Hellooo guys! I have a mascara review for you today! So I have recently been using the Rimmel Scandel Eyes Retro Glam and I thought I would share with you how much I love it!

First off I want to mention the consistency because it is a little bit more watery than the average mascara which can be a bit annoying when applying it. You know what I'm taking about - the dreaded, mascara to eyeshadow transfer! But as long as you're careful it doesn't tend to be that much of a problem. The brush as you can see is quite unusual, I've never actually used a brush shaped like this (although there are probably tonnes out there) and it does take a bit of getting used to when you've used regular brushes for a long time. I find it does an amazing job on the inner corner lashes and towards the middle but it's a little harder to work with on the outer lashes!

As I am writing this I'm beginning to feel like I'm picking the faults out way too much...I tend to do that when I love something? Don't ask me why! Nonetheless I do honestly love it! My eyelashes have always been long but recently they've thinned out a little bit and lost some length but this mascara really brings back the length! When applied it doesn't feel clumpy or thick or that general horrible feeling when you're using a bad mascara. Big, long, thick lashes. LOVE.

Have any of you guys tried this mascara? What do you think of it?

Small Collective Haul: ASOS, New Look, Primark and More

I've purchased a few bits and bobs over the past couple of weeks and I thought I might as well share them with you!

The dress in the first photo is from ASOS and was £60, I bought it for the night of my sisters wedding, I got it in a 6 thinking it would be perfect but it is prettyyyy tight :L Oh well I still managed to wedge myself into it ;)

The dungarees are from New Look and I believe they were £25, I got them in an 8 and they are massive :L I look frumpy in them which I don't like, but I hate returning things so I'll just have to deal with them!

And finally the shoes, these were off eBay and they were £28.50 and again these are for the night of my sisters wedding. In the picture they don't look that big but my lord they are massive. At first I thought they looked a bit tranny like, but now I've gotten used to them and I absolutely love them. I think they are about 7-8 inches high :)

All of these items are from Primark and AGAIN they are accessories for my sisters wedding, the bag has a light snakeskin texture and has a lovely clasp and I think it was about £8.

The earrings are a feather and leaf combo and I think they were £3.50

And finally the ring, I love it, believe it or not but it actually looks quite expensive in person and I believe it was around £2-3 :)

Oh and I also bought a strapless bra to go under the dress, I never really look at the underwear in Primark but it is actually really good quality although it doesn't compliment my boobies which I don't like :L It was either £6 or £8, man I'm crap with prices!

And the last few items are make up bits! I bought the Rimmel 'Wake me up' foundation as I said in my previous post (a review will be coming up soon on here) I bought it from Superdrug and it was £5.99.

I also purchased a new mascara which I did a review on yesterday. Again this was from Superdrug and I'm fairly sure it was £4.99.

Want a bargain?
Now finally I bought a travel perfume atomiser! Now you've probably seen all the big Bloggers and YouTubers reviewing 'Travelo's' and I must say they are ridiculously over priced! The Travelo atomiser costs £12.49 and the one I bought was from eBay and cost only £3.49 and they are probably exactly the same product...even if they aren't they still do the same thing don't they? :L Why waste money on the same product.

I also purchased the Diesel Loverdose perfume. My lord this stuff smells good, its so sweet and yummy, get it!! I bought it from Debenhams and it was £36 for a 30ml bottle. The last thing is a bit cheesy but I needed some new headphones and I went to TKMaxx and saw these, yes...I bought Captain America headphones ;) They are THE shit and they were £4.99.

So that is everything I have purchased over the past couple of weeks :)

Review: Collection 2000 XXL Volume Sensation Mascara

So recently I've been running out of my Benefit 'They're Real' mascara and I thought I would try something different instead so I chose the Collection 2000 Volume Sensation thinking it would just be a normal mascara. After using it I noticed how it made my lashes look a lot thicker and longer and I would even go as far to say its just as good if not better than the Benefit mascara. The benefit mascara did make my lashes longer and more spread out but it didn't really make them look fuller where as the Collection 2000 one does. The pictures below show me applying it and what the packaging and brush look like.

I haven't actually read any other reviews on this product so I don't know what everyone else thinks of it, but I absolutely love it! It has a fat bristle brush, I don't usually like the way other mascaras with this kind of a brush apply, I usually stick to the plastic brushes. When I picked this one up I didn't realise it had this kind of brush, but I'm glad I did because I actually love the way it applies, believe it or not but I don't actually get any mascara on my lid like I usually would with other mascaras! :L And the tube is just amaze-balls, well its cute anyway ;)

So all in all I would very much recommend this mascara if you haven't tried it! :D
