Simple Leopard Print Nails!

So again I got this tutorial off 'cutepolish' on YouTube and I thought I would show you how mine came out and what I did!

1. Paint nails a base colour, a colour a bit browner than the one I used would be better!
2. Then randomly paint some dots with a brown nail varnish
3. And finally paint some lines around the brown dots with some black nail varnish as well as some little black messy dots by themselves.
4. Finish with a clear coat.

This is really really easy to do and just to prove it, above is a picture of my right hand and we all know how hard it is to paint your nails with your left handed if you're not usually that handed.

OOTD: Beetlejuice!

So this is going to be a quick post about what I wore today! So first off, the reason for the name of the post. I got off the bus and my sister was just pulling out in her car from our house because she had to pop in to get something, so I had a quick chat with her and the first thing she said was 'you look like beetlejuice in those leggings' And I found it highly amusing! Hence the name.

I am wearing stripy leggings, which I got off eBay and they were £6.64, although they only really fit one size, they list that 'one size fits all' but they don't, I'm usually a 6-8 on the bottom and they are a bit tight on me.

I'm wearing a plain black cami and a black blouse with gold buttons and long sleeves. The necklace is a long gold chain with two rings on the bottom and its from Primark, I think it was around £3?

I am also wearing a black quilted jacket with gold buttons and zip, this was the only jacket that really went with this outfit.

I'm sporting my everyday bag which is a leather (fake) bag with a fur (fake) flap over lid.

And finally I have my leopard print wedges which are from international and were around £28, I think. They're really comfy considering they are quite high and my god are they gorgeous! :D My new love.

So that is what i wore today, i hope you enjoyed it. Byeee!

Nail Rock: Nail Wraps Tutorial!

So in the November Glossy box I received the Nail Rock - Nails Wraps in Leopard print. I decided to try them and see if I could do them, so in this post I am going to talk you through what I did :)

So this is everything that came in the little packet. It came with the wraps themselves and a little instruction leaflet which also showed what other nail wraps you can get.

So the first thing I did was see what nail wrap would fit my little finger the best and I stuck it on and made sure it was firmly pressed down and that there were no air bubbles (do the same for all other nails).

Then I got the hair dryer at the ready and blow dried the nail for about 5 seconds.

You know the nail is done when the wrap starts to bend as shown in the picture above and starts to become more flimsy. Once you have blow dried it, press the wrap down again just to make sure all the glue has stuck to the nail. Then trim the wrap down to the tip of the nail and file all the excess off with a nail file (make sure you file downwards and not upwards).

This is what one of my nails looked like after I had completed those steps.

This is what they looked like when completed, do excuse my manly looking hands :L

I then applied a thin layer around the edge (tip) of my nail just to try and secure the edge of the wrap a bit more so it doesn't peel off.

Once I got the hang of it I thought the whole application of the nail wraps was fairly simple and quite enjoyable. They are said to last 7 days on the finger nails and 8 weeks on the toenails, as of yet I don't know how long they are going to last for me, but I do hope they last as long as promised. Overall I really love these wraps, they are easily applied and they look absolutely amazing and I will definitely be purchasing more patterns.
